- We need a valid driving license which must be held for at least 1 year.
- And one of the following A utility bill, or bank statement dated within the last 3 months.
- You’ll need your national insurance number to hand in order for us to check you driving licence. Alternatively, you can obtain a check code from https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and share that code with us.
We can accept a maximum of 6 points on your licence.
Any endorsements have to be referred to our insurance for their approval.
There is a £200.00 Pre-authorised deposit we take at the point of booking. No money is taken, this amount is just blocked and refunded upon return of the hired vehicle.
It takes between 5 – 7 days from returning the vehicle without incident for the pre-authorised amount to be showing in your account. Timescales depend on your bank.
The hire cost includes fully comprehensive insurance. However, there is an excess to pay in the event of an accident.
There is a £750.00 Damage excess on all our cars and vans. This the maximum liability that you would be liable for damages to a vehicle.
We do not offer a CDW but if you needed one, you could purchase one online from an independent provider.
TSP offer unlimited milage on all our hires.
Our cars are not permitted to be taken abroad and are only allowed in Great Britain.
No smoking or vaping is permitted in our vehicles. Any smoking in the vehicle will incur a £80.00 cleaning fee.
Our vehicles are usually provided with a full tank of fuel, and upon return must be refueled. If the vehicle is not refueled upon return, then we will refuel at a rate of £1.49 Plus VAT.
Cars and Vans drivers over 25 and the minibus is drivers over 30.
We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We cannot accept cash cards.
Payments for the hire can be paid in cash, however the deposit must be paid by card by in the name of the hirer.
Someone else can pay for your hire, however the deposit needs to be paid by the hirer.
All our hires as standard come with breakdown cover.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the exact make and model of a car, however it will be from the same group, or sometimes you may be upgraded.
You can leave your vehicle with us subject to availability, however all vehicles are park at their own risk, and TSP do not accept any liability.
Please call the office as soon as you know you will be running late so we are aware.
You can extend your hire subject to availability. Payment must be made before a hire can be extended.
You can return a hire early, however there will be no refunds paid in lieu of unused days.
