  1. UK Driving Licence Photocard. A quick photo from your phone is fine but bring the original with you. If you have a paper licence, please ensure you also bring your valid passport with you to verify your identity.
  2. UK Driving Licence Summary Printout / or Check Code If you didn’t send it when you booked online. This will be a pdf document within a week of the start of your hire, or the check code so we can do it for you. Get it here: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence . If you have printed something which is unsatisfactory you may need your NI number, so we recommend bringing a record of your National Insurance number with you to avoid any problems on collection.

Secondary Proof of address is required from all new customers, customers who have not hired within the last 12 months or who have moved address since they last hired; this can be in the form of a Utility bill or Bank Statement in your name dated within the last 3 months, the address must correspond with the address on your driving licence. If you have since moved, we will require proof of your new address in addition.

The held funds will be automatically released by your bank upon the satisfactory return of your vehicle; this can take a number of days (sometimes up 10 working days but sometimes longer depending on your bank) to clear back to your card. In the event of additional costs such as damage, extra days and under fuelling, charges will be deducted up to your preauthorisation amount initially. Should you choose to return the vehicle out of office hours, you will remain liable for the vehicle and any damage incurred, up until a team member has completed a post rental inspection.

If you are using a non-UK Licence, please ensure you provide your Driving Licence, Passport and proof of where you are staying when in the UK.
